|Description of the project:||Beach nourishment/dredging 90.000 m³|
On this project we were to carry out dredging of the harbour entrance due to the inrush of sand. The materials were recycled as beach nourishment to protect against future storms and to ensure good beach conditions. The materials were excavated from the fairway and loaded up on barges. The barges than sailed to a pumping station, and the materials were pumped onto the beach through a 1,5 km long pipeline. On land, the sand material was then evenly spread out by a front-end loader for the final Placment.
